Introducing the bridal gown of the Minerva collection. We have been working on this for months, and are so proud to introduce you to our wedding gown version of the Minerva Gown. This has a lot of special features, like hand made buttons, 2 cm extra seam allowance for easy tailoring, and a hidden ribbon for holding the train while dancing. It also features a beautiful split in the skirt, which makes for gorgeous movement and a touch of fun!

This dress is inspired by our love for baroque silhouettes, made in a beautiful cotton fabric with a hint of lace detail. The V-shaped bottom of the bodice gives this dress a corset look, without the restricting and sometimes uncomfortable feeling of corset boning. It has a modern square neckline, which we think looks flattering on everyone, and doesn't make the dress too revealing if you have a larger bust. The big puff sleeves have long ties on the cuffs and are a perfect detail that makes this dress even more regal!

The beautiful venue pictured in the photos (inside) is Gjestestuene at Norsk Folkemuseum in Bygdøy, Oslo. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your incredible locale!

Materials

This gown is made mostly in cotton. 80% cotton and 20% polyester.

The buttons are handmade, covered in the same fabric as the gown. Invisible zipper from YKK.

The bodice of the dress is lined in a cotton fabric, and the skirt is unlined as to not show any extra unfortunate fabric when walking, running and showing off the split. No underskirt is worn in any of the photos. If you want the gown to be more poofy, we are able to make the skirt without the split, so you can add any underskirt you like. Under white gowns it is recommended to wear only nude underwear to not augment the colour of the gown.

Sizing

We have used a lot of time perfecting this design, and are proud to offer an inclusive size range. Because of the non-stretch fabric in this dress, we recommend to size up if you are in between sizes.

If you’re ordering a size 50 or up, we would love for you to send us your measurements before you place the order, so we can custom make it to you, as we currently are working on these sizes of our standard size range.

The Minerva Bridal gown is our only garment made with an extra 2 cm of sewing allowance at each seam, and can therefore be taken out about 12 cm at the bodice. This makes the gown easier to take in or out if necessary, and to sell after the wedding, if you choose to do so.
